The Patrol Division is the largest division of the Police Department and is under the command of Captain R. Graham and platoon commanders Lieutenant J. Sherrill and Lieutenant S. Berry. There are two platoons covering each half of the week with one day shift, one relief shift, and one night shift on each platoon. Every shift has a sergeant who oversees day-to-day operations. The Patrol Division works to achieve the goals and actions set forth in the City of Webster’s strategic plan, specifically to:
- Prevent, control, and reduce crime
- Collaborate with citizens, businesses, and other stakeholders to prevent crime
